The reporter has reported on various sports for major publications around the globe. She was a reporter for The Washington Post nearly a decade and covered Grand Slam Tennis and Grand Slam Football as well playing basketball in multiple Olympics. Nichols began a nine year stint with ESPN in which she won the two Emmy Awards, and featured on a number of the network's best programs like NFL Countdown and SportsCenter.
